Senior AI Software Engineer - LATAM

Remote | Must be in LATAM | Part-Time, potential Full-Time or Side Gig

ABOUT FUTUREPROOFING

Futureproofing is a talent platform focused on embedding high-caliber engineers into startups building real AI-driven products.

We don’t train for theory.

We don’t optimize for interviews.

We don’t mass-submit resumes.

We work at the intersection of startup execution and real hiring needs.

Our engineers ship production AI features — not just prototypes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

•Build and ship MVPs fast

•Work hands-on with LLMs, APIs, and AI-assisted workflows

•Use tools like Copilot, Cursor, GPT, Claude, etc. daily

•Ship AI-powered product inside high-growth startups redefining fintech, biotech, and next-gen infrastructure.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

•5+ years shipping real production products

•Strong in modern programming languages like JavaScript (React, Node) and/or Python, with comfort working across the stack

•Obsessed building 0→1 and owning ambiguity

•Already building, experimenting with, or deploying AI products

•Energized by AI and actively using it in your coding workflow

•Autonomous, detail-oriented, strong builder mindset

WORK SETUP

•Fully remote

•Flexible engagement: part-time, project-based, or side gig

•Flexible schedules with some US time overlap

WHAT MAKES FUTUREPROOFING DIFFERENT

•We train in applied AI when needed (LLMs, APIs, AI workflows, real MVP velocity)

•We cover 100% of the training cost

•We match intentionally, not through keyword filtering

•We embed engineers directly into startup teams

•We focus on output, ownership, and shipping speed

•Developer-first model — we optimize for engineers doing great work, not for client volume

•Continuous learning path with optional certifications aligned to your growth

You’re not competing with thousands of applicants.

You’re introduced intentionally - once you’re ready.
